Day 30: "Driving to Jake's House!"

After a peek at Grandpa's house and a sleepover at the Mills' (which included a ballgame on TV, and Klondikes, and fun catching up), we headed off to Virginia with nothing but Dan's phone GPS lady to guide us.

(I miss those AAA maps that show every rest area, and food availablity, and alternative routes if traffic is heavy.)

Oh well...It worked pretty well, except when the GPS lady didn't feel like we needed to turn off for lunch, and she got kinda nagging about our need to turn  around and get back on track.

We got advice from Kevin (via phone) when we started hitting DC traffic.  (He was more fun to talk to than the GPS lady...)  We finally arrived and are now installed at Jake's house for a couple of nights before heading off to Leesburg.
