At the moment, Dad is sighing with relief. He just found the earpiece for his telephone, which, of course, had mysteriously disappeared. (He had looked and looked and looked!)
Earlier today we took Grandpa to Latrobe for bloodwork and various other things he needed done before his operation. We stayed at the Mills house while Jan took Grandpa on to the doctor. Dan wanted to work on their Wii so that we can play games together when we're in NZ. After Jan and Grandpa got back, Jan loaded us up with Creative Memory stuff (so I can give Emily back what I borrowed...plus lots more. Wait 'til you see!). After Steve got back from work, we all went out for Chinese food. Yum!
We got back to Pittsburgh just in time to see the end of the winning Pirates game. Yahoo!
It's always hard to say good-bye, but at least this time it's just for a little while. We'll return in a month. And I can't wait to see Grandma in Portland. The adventure continues. Stay tuned to this channel, folks!
Well, I'd better fold the laundry that just came out of the dryer and squish it in my suitcase.........
Oh this time of trip is so sad and excitingly happy at the same time. Yay for scrapbook things! =) Wow, the Pirates have been winning a bit this season =) Give Grandma a hug from me!
