I've got to get my act together!
A woman came by for Grandma's dressers...4 in all. She's fitting out a home for boys, and these 3-drawer bureau's are just the thing. She paid for 1 a couple of days ago, plus a little extra so we'd hold the other three.
The only problem was that Grandma and I had been making decisions and sorting all day so that we were a little brain dead. We couldn't remember the deal we made with her, (but the buyer did), we couldn't for the life of us subtract what she'd already paid and give her a total, and write the receipt. (The buyer helped us out...I think she was honest, luckily!) I think we're in trouble when the sale starts in earnest on Friday!
