Day 53: Visiting!

Went to see Grandpa this afternoon. He had just woken up from a nap and was a bit flustered he wasn't in a chair waiting to receive us. (That was his plan!) We told him not to worry. We had heard how hard he worked in the morning on his physical therapy, and knew he had had a fever the night before...but it worried him. So when the nurse came, we made ourselves scarce so he could have help getting set up in the chair, have his hair combed, etc.

He was in good spirits and it was great to see him!

After our visit at the hospital, we went to Steve and Jan's house for dinner. It was busy over there. John's wife, Katie, was there with their dog, Journey. The swimming pool cement decking people were there paving away. AND, the electrician came by to connect power from the house to the pool. (Eric had dug a long trench for this purpose. The electrician was impressed!) The colour of the paving looks very natural. It's going to be a thing of beauty!
