This has been a car day. We took Grandpa downtown this morning to go to his long-time barber. (He hadn't been in a long time because it's too far to walk to the bus, and no close parking for the car.) We dropped him at the door, then picked him up a little later.
We had our first "New People" appointment to explain our ministry, at a McDonald's supposedly 20 minutes away (according to google maps). There happened to be a detour and bumper to bumper traffic, so the trip took over an hour. Oops! We texted a couple of times, but when we tried talking, got cut off. BUT--They were still there when we arrived and were very positive about what we presented. They were a young couple, both H.S. teachers, with a 2-year-old girl. NICE family!
Went to the grocery store to stock up, and got flowers for the porch. (Sprucing up for the party.)
Then it was off to Latrobe for Dancing With the Stars, a Pink Panther movie, and fun time with the Mills.
A good day! (But no deer sightings yet--if you don't count road-kill! I'm on the look-out, though!)

Yay! I'm glad the appointment went well! I bet it was nice for Grandpa to go back to him barber =)
