You know you're in Iowa when you see from your living room window a red tractor drive down the street...and then later find it's destination was an old folks home.
Yes. It was tractor day at the Senior Center. What a sight! We drove by the place and it was one of the most unusual scenes I've experienced: about 6 tractors lined-up on one side of the parking lot, and on the other side, a line of seniors in chairs and wheelchairs, just looking across at them. It looked like a "stare-off" between the tractors and the seniors. (There must have been lively discussion going on...one would hope, but we passed by too quickly to hear, or even get a photo.)
