2015 Furlough: "Back Home!"

It's the strangest thing to step into a country and feel "this is home"...and have it be true in at least 3 countries.

It's great to see good ol' Mt. Hood and Fred Meyers stores, and to have my mom be the guest celebrity instead of always us.  (I'm more comfortable in the #2 position.)

We're staying in a self-contained unit above the Jensen's "barn" (which is actually a wood-working shop.)  We might be the Jensen's ministry partners in Papua New Guinea, but my mom is David's former Sunday School teacher.  The Jensen's live out in the country, and there's a small deck outside our door overlooking the neighbor's hay field and 2 donkeys in a pasture.

 Strawberries are in season (and taste wonderful,) but I think we'll be in Iowa when Oregon's Strawberry Festival happens.  Oh, well.
