Freddies just happened to have a 40% off the sale price summer clothing sale! How could a grandma resist? (Just a small "somethin' somethin'.")
We took Grandma, which was fun, and also went into Target. Remember the escalator that also takes your shopping cart up the middle? (You should have seen the slightly offended stares of the people as Dad was trying to take a photo. I pretended not to know him. TeeHee)
We had dinner with Francine and family at Elmer's. Wow, has William grown! He's as tall as Dan and is 15. He's talking about what university he's considering and has been offered a couple of full achedemic scholarships. Amazing!
Wayne excused himself for a couple of minutes and came back with a Smurf for Grandma. He's apparently figured out that crane machine that grabs soft toys and can get one easily. He said Grandma just needed it! (She was happy with her new, blue friend!)
